Systems Integration & API Development
Your technology should work together.
Most of the technology problems I solve aren't about building something new. They're about connecting what already exists.
The Integration Problem
Your systems were never designed to talk to each other.
You picked the best CRM for your sales team. The best accounting software for your finance team. A scheduling platform, a phone system, an e-commerce platform, and a marketing tool. Each one does its job.
But none of them share data automatically. Your team manually exports reports, copy-pastes customer records, re-enters orders, and reconciles discrepancies between systems. That's not a software problem -- it's an integration problem.
I specialize in solving integration problems. I build the connections, synchronizations, and automated workflows that make your existing technology function as a single coherent system.

Integration patterns I use
REST APIs, webhooks, GraphQL, SOAP/XML, EDI, SFTP/file exchange, event-driven architecture, message queues, ETL pipelines, and custom middleware layers
Integration Categories
Three types of integration work.
Integration challenges come in different shapes. Here's how I typically categorize them.
Platform and Application Integrations
Connecting your CRM to your marketing platform. Your phone system to your customer database. Your e-commerce store to your accounting software. These are point-to-point connections where data needs to flow automatically in real time or on a schedule.
Legacy System Bridging
Older systems often have no modern API. They may communicate through file exports, database access, or proprietary protocols. I build bridges that let your modern applications talk to your legacy systems without requiring a full replacement -- protecting your investment while extending your capabilities.
Custom API Development
When no standard integration exists, I build one. REST APIs, webhooks, GraphQL endpoints -- whatever the consuming system needs. I design APIs that are reliable, properly documented, secured, and maintainable over time as your systems evolve.
Platform Experience
Systems I've integrated.
This isn't an exhaustive list. If you're using a platform that isn't here, that's fine -- I'll learn its API.
Specific Capabilities
What I can help with.
If your problem fits any of these descriptions, bring it to me.
The Process
How it works.
Integration projects succeed when the scope is clear before the first line of code is written.
Tell me the problem
Describe what's not connected, what manual work you're doing, and what you want to happen automatically. Don't worry about the technical details -- that's my job.
We agree on what "solved" means
We define the data flows, the triggers, the error handling, and what success looks like in production. No ambiguity. This protects both of us and ensures the integration does exactly what you need.
I go to work
I build, test, and deploy the integration. I document it so you're not dependent on me to maintain it. And I'm available when you need to extend it as your business grows.
Have a systems integration problem?
Tell me which systems aren't talking to each other and what you need them to do. I'll tell you what it would take to connect them and what it would cost. No pressure, no sales pitch.
